Susan Snead started Families First of North Carolina in November 2000.
Susan received her undergraduate from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas, and her Master's of Science in Special Education from The College of New Rochelle in New York. Susan remains dedicated to the people we serve, their families, and our staff.
Mary Palisoc

Mary Palisoc has worked for Families First since 2001. She began as a paraprofessional working one-on-one with persons served. She has been a Qualified Professional since 2006. Mary received her Bachelor's of Science at Western Carolina University.
Michelle Barnwell

Michelle Barnwell has worked for Families First since 2004. She began as a paraprofessional working one-on-one with persons served. She has been a Qualified Professional since 2017. Michelle received her Bachelor's of Arts from University of North Carolina at Asheville and her Master's of Arts from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
Jana Hester

Jana Hester has worked for Families First since 2005. She began as a paraprofessional working one-on-one with persons served. Jana has been a QP since 2021. Jana received her Bachelor's of Arts from University of South Florida.
